Then while I was searching for what's next for me and my career, I ended up at a party and a woman mentioned she had created a range of organic skincare. She wasn't even talking to me. I was on the other side of the room, but in that instant, it was like a light bulb went on in my head, I knew that's what I am meant to do. I had no idea what would follow.

It took months and months of research, talking in detail to people in the industry, creating the vision and working on the business plan, having my bubble burst, being challenged and then realising that I actually can do this and I don't have to have a buisness partner as I had thought about various possible businesses over the years and I didn't have to work for a cosmetics producer or retailer. I've always wanted to run my own business and I love leading people. Integrity Cosmetics presented itself as the ultimate opportunity for me to fulfil that vision and make a contributino to society and the direction the world s moving in at the same time.

In my later years philanthropy has become more and more important to me, you could say that started when I was 18, even though it wasn't a huge prioirty for my in my mid to late 20's.

I have no doubt that I have the means to earn enought money to be secure and attend to my needs of food, housing and a reasonable level of comfort in life. But what makes me truly happy is to contribute to others and make a difference on a large scale. Now that's an opportunity worth creating and a life worth living! I think Venice Bloodworth says in The Key To Yourself, something along the lines of your "life is ultimately about being of service".

Woking for the government is on the one hand appealing if you want to make a difference on a large scale, but I'm not sure it's the kind of gig for me and or that I would achieve what I wish to via that avenue. It doesn't resonate with me, at least not at the moment anyway.

Money actually makes the world go around. Like it or not, money creates flexibility and provides options and opportunities in life. Can money create peace? Who knows? Perhaps it's one piece in what is a complex puzzle. Creating my own business would allow me to contribute a percentage of the earnings to my own foundation and to use these proceeds to fund and implement projects, contributing further to the wider community; hence the concept of the Integrity Foundation has been formed.
